Administration Officer 2024
- Permanent Part Time – 22.8 Hours per week
- Hours to be worked flexibly across 4-5 days per week
- Hawthorn office based combined with some flexibility for hybrid working
- Circa $75K + super FTE
Our client, a member organisation represents a highly specialised group of medical professionals across Australia and New Zealand. In this highly collaborative environment, each team member plays a valuable role in supporting their mission.
The Position:
As Administration Officer, you will work with the head office team, providing essential support to the Executive GM and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth running of administrative activities. Responsibilities will vary, from coordinating meetings and events to board communications and handling daily office operations, with your contributions being vital to the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Membership and Administration Support: Organise and support office operations, communications, and assist with accounts.
- Board & Committee Administration: Schedule meetings, prepare documents, and maintain records.
- Event Services: Support organising and maintaining events.
- Certificates & Awards: Administer and coordinate awards processes.
Your Key Skills:
- Detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional with a knack for administration.
- Proven experience in administration, particularly in board and committee support.
- Advanced MS Word and intermediate MS Excel and Outlook skills as a minimum.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive approach with a talent for problem-solving and teamwork.
- Experience in membership or not-for-profit organisations highly regarded.

This is a part time role, with flexibility required to work 22.8 hours across 4-5 days to ensure coverage is provided throughout the week. Monday to Wednesday will be office based, with the option to work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays.
